We saw it on the runways on Cara, Kendall and all the other beauties, but take a look above, this is a REAL client of Lara’s, and she has beautifully shaped, big, bold brows. But, what we like about them the most is the arch, it’s just enough, but not too much. The younger crowd is definitely going for a straighter longer brow with less of an arch, and this is what we’re talking about. And let’s face the facts, anyone who wants to look younger should opt for the same style. So stop by and see Lara, or any of our others brow mavens – just walk in, no appointment necessary. And remember:
- The best brows have a slight arch - to find, hold brush parallel to the outside edge of the colored part of the eye (the iris). Where the brush meets the brow is where the highest part of the arch should be – use powder to define.
- An arch should roughly be ¾ of the way back from the bridge of the nose and the tail should taper and follow the angle of the eye.
- Most people remove the hair on the brow bone before the arch to try to create an arch, but that’s a big mistake, it creates the dreaded RAINBOW BROW which is a very dated look.
- Stick to removing hair below the brow bone. Let a pro tweeze above the brows, if you accidently tweeze in to the arch, it brings it down instead of lifting it up, which is a no, no.
