Malynda Vigliotti loves perfect and defined thick brows, and to rescue women with bad brows, and any extra body hair, she founded the Boom Boom Brow Bar in New York City’s West Village in 2008. Even though she decided to open her salon in the midst of an economic recession, she thrived thanks to her business wit and fun personality.
Today, Boom Boom Brow Bar has flourished and is a staple on Seventh Avenue, the original location,, and also on it second location on 35 Greenwich Avenue. Boom Boom is also recognized now for its range of brow and waxing products.
The salons feature a bright and busy décor with pink hues, reminiscent of old Hollywood where Malynda, AKA Boom Boom, and her team of “glamour” technicians keep waxing fun and affordable. They are just obsessed with brows!
Vigliotti, alumni of The Fashion Institute of Technology, has worked in the fashion and beauty trenches long enough to be an expert, and now is a self-proclaimed eyebrow queen and the flashiest in New York.
